The Iverson Park Winter Sports Area includes:
Our Winter season typically runs from the second week of December through the end of February, depending on weather conditions and accumulated snowfall. When conditions permit, the Iverson Park Winter Sports Area is open Fridays 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturdays 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Sundays 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. All areas except the ski trails are lighted for night use. The Winter Sports Area is available for private parties. Get private party rental information. Driving Directions: 1) From Highway 66, turn south at the lights onto Sunset Ave. (you'll see Walgreens on the north side of this intersection). 2) Drive four blocks south and Sunset will end at Hillcrest Dr. 3) Turn left (east) on Hillcrest Dr. and in four and a half blocks (just past Sunrise Ave.) you'll get to the entrance of Iverson Park. 4) To get to the warming lodge, toboggan runs, skating rink, and sled hills, turn left into the parking area just before you get to the arches. 5) To get to the ski trails, go under the stone arches and down the hill to the parking area. |
